Consideration of the Civility Ordinance

During its regular meetings in Novermber 2023 and January 2024, the Museum Park Super Neighborhood Council discussed Houston's civility ordinance and its possible value to help the police interact with people who would sit or lie down on a sidewalk, or sit on an object placed upon a sidewalk, or place bedding materials or personal possessions on a sidewalk. The MPSN is working with the Museum Park Neighborhood Association to determine whether to define an area and obtain the signatures needed to petition for application of the ordinance.
