Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
How does a "neighborhood association" or "civic club" differ from a "super neighborhood"?
Neighborhood Associations and Civic Clubs represent the residents in an area. Some neighborhoods have established a neighborhood association and some have not.
Super Neighborhood Councils represent all the people, businesses, and institutions in a defined area. These councils cover the entire city. The Super Neighborhoods are established through a process managed by the mayor's office to gather diverse stakeholder representation, create an organizational structure, and draft bylaws. Super Neighborhoods may include several neighborhood associations or civic clubs.
